Cooling lubricants in metalworking, glass processing or ceramics treatment
STA centrifugal separators are primarily used wherever the concentration of superfine abraded particles in the
cooling lubricant leads to limited service lives of the medium, tools, guides, spindles, high-pressure pumps,
etc.
STA plans and produces complete system solutions including stockpiling, process supply, cooling, etc.
Examples:
Cleaning of wire drawing oil
Fine cleaning of machining oil from a chip de-oiling system at CVT Capellmann, Gosheim
Removal of fine abraded particles and foreign oil from emulsion in a deep drawing press at Progresswerke Oberkirch
Separation of graphite particles from cutting oil.
Cleaning of coolant water from glass grinding process
Recycling of process liquid from brushing process (German only)
Surface treatment baths (washing/phosphating)
The use of STA systems to maintain chemical surface treatment baths leads to lower ongoing costs, e.g. for bath
faults, cleaning and maintenance work, and sludge disposal.
Our concepts are adapted to the particular application case and do not require the use of consumables.
Example:
Continuous sludge and foreign oil removal during non-stop pre-treatment in radiator production at Radson b.v. (B)
Treatment of enamel stripping baths (in German)
Painting cabin water
Unlike conventional systems for removing coagulated overspray on wet painting lines, better cleaning results are
obtained using STA centrifugal separators and paint sludge is removed with up to 80% lower residual moisture.

Paint sludge removal at REUM
